Once again in 2019, KEGON will be an exhibitor at the OOP, the conference for software architecture, in Munich from 22 – 24 January.
Additionally, Kurt Jäger and Thorsten Janning will hold two exciting lectures on the following agile topics:
Thorsten Janning, Tuesday 22.1.2019, 9:00 -10:30 a.m.
"Scaled agility for large service organizations."
All the commonly used frameworks for scaled agility primarily address product development organizations. However, business units such as sales, settlements or even large parts of government departments have the character of a service organization. This is also true of most data center services. This presentation will conceptually describe which principles, roles and practices of the Scaled Agile Framework can be transferred to these service organizations and where adjustments need to be made. Thorsten Janning will also cover practical experiences of implementing these concepts in banks, insurance companies, local governments and data centers, plus what we have learned from this.
Kurt Jäger and Peter Schnell, Thursday 24.01.2019, 14:30 - 15:30 Uhr
"What do you want? We are agile !"
The agile transition was successful, the teams are agile. We are successful!
But times are changing, the backlog is getting longer, complexity is increasing, there are requirements from all departments and we’re starting to get the feeling that something needs to change. "What do you want? We’re agile!" And then you discover that there is an agile comfort zone - comfortable, largely unreflected and incredibly hard to crack. Sound familiar? In this interactive lecture Kurt Jäger and Peter Schnell want to discuss exactly this with you and search together for solutions!
