Rick has a degree in computer science and is certified SAFe SPC5, APM5 and RTE5.

Rick's experience with agile software development dates back to the year 2002. 

As SPC he has successfully launched several ARTs and supported many product and line managers in SAFe and DevOps transformations. 

He has coached nearly forty Scrum and Kanban teams and trained over six hundred students in agility. 

Before his time as a coach, he worked as a software developer, software architect and project manager and has managed scaled and distributed development mandates himself.
