Design thinking basics - an introduction to customer-centric innovation.
Training Content:
In this course, you will learn the basics of customer centricity and how to use design thinking to produce relevant solutions and true innovation for your customers.
Especially in the agile environment, it's more important than ever not to rush into solutions that ultimately have little benefit to your customers because they don't solve a relevant problem. Instead, it is a matter of deploying development resources in a targeted and effective manner. The first way to do this is to systematically address your target groups and their true needs (problem space). Only when a clear and relevant problem can be identified and described can the most effective solution be developed for it (solution space). Both problem and solution space are characterized by successive divergent as well as convergent thinking and acting. A six-step process with supporting method sets lead systematically through a Design Thinking project. From problem exploration to idea generation, prototyping, design and implementation. The pillars for this are consistent customer centricity, multidisciplinary teamwork, and agility.
Learning Objectives:
You will learn how customer-centricity is both a basic attitude and can be lived sustainably in your organization with processes, methods and tools. You will be empowered to apply design thinking to systematically produce relevant solutions for your customers and true innovation with both divergent and convergent thinking.
Certification:
A "Certificate of Completion" will be awarded for participation in the Design Thinking Fundamentals Training.
