Learn in this 3-day advanced SAFe® RTE training how to set up, manage and successfully create high-performance ART´s business value. To participate in this training it is recommended that you have another SAFe® certificate and have already accompanied at least one ART as well as one PI-Planning. Attendees explore the skills needed to facilitate and enable end-to-end value delivery through Agile Release Trains (ARTs)—and learn how to build a high-performing ART through servant leadership and coaching—by becoming a SAFe® 4 Release Train Engineer (RTE). During this three-day course, attendees will gain an in-depth understanding of the role and responsibilities of an RTE in the SAFe® enterprise. Through experiential learning, attendees will examine the RTE role in a Lean-Agile transformation. They will learn how to facilitate ART processes and execution, coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in new processes and mindsets. They will also learn how to prepare, plan and execute a Program Increment (PI) planning event, the primarily enabler of alignment throughout all levels of a SAFe® organization.

  • Method: Web-based (single browser), Closed Book, no external help, time limited
  • Access: Participants will be registered with the SAI after KEGON has conducted the training. You will get access to the SAFe® Community Platform and online exam.

  • Duration: 120 minutes
  • Number of exam questions: 60
  • Passing Score: 44 of 60 questions (73%)
  • Cost: The first exam attempt is part of the course fee if the exam is taken within 30 days after completion of the course. Each retry costs $50.

Professional Development Units (PDUs) and Scrum Education Units (SEUs)

Participants are eligible to use 15 PDUs to meet the Project Management Institute (PMI) training requirements for PMP, PgMP and PMI-ACP certificates.Through the Scrum Alliance, participants are eligible to claim SEUs under Category C to receive or renew their CSP.
