KEGON solution/services provided
As a Scrum Master at SMO, a KEGON employee has been supporting several agile teams within a scaled setup based on the SAFe® framework since February 2024. He is responsible for conducting all agile events (daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives), addressing systemic impediments, and promoting adherence to agile principles and the consistent application of best practices.
Working closely with product owners, release train engineers, and other Scrum Masters, he supports cross-team synchronization and contributes to increasing transparency and value stream efficiency. An essential part of the job is agile coaching at the team level with the goal of establishing continuous improvement and a high degree of self-organization.
They pay particular attention to the context-specific adaptation of agile methodology in the sense of business agility. This includes the pragmatic translation of theoretical frameworks into the specific ART context, taking into account relevant flow metrics and target achievement KPIs. On this basis, the KEGON consultant actively supports the optimization of end-to-end delivery capability to ensure sustainable and continuous value generation within the organization.
The Scrum Master supports a procurement stream consisting of three agile teams. A key aspect of the role is removing obstacles between cross-functional teams to ensure smooth collaboration and continuous delivery. He moderates joint planning rounds and establishes cross-team backlog transparency to identify dependencies early on and manage them actively. This allows sprints to be synchronized and potential blockers that could delay the transformation of the end-to-end P2P process to be effectively reduced.
