KEGON AI Kickstart Workshop 2026 at a major transportation company

In the KEGON AI Kickstart Workshop 2026, employees of a large transportation company were systematically introduced to the basics, opportunities, risks, and specific use cases of artificial intelligence through an interactive, practical format in order to reduce existing reservations, strengthen skills in using tools such as Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT, and provide sustainable innovation impulses for everyday work.

The customer

The employees of a large transportation company already have access to modern AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT. Nevertheless, as in many organizations, there was a wide range in the degree of usage: while some employees were already using AI effectively to optimize their tasks, others still had reservations or lacked know-how. To leverage this potential, the company opted for the KEGON AI Kickstart Workshop.

The KEGON solution

Our KEGON consultants and AI specialists Svenja Suhre and Manuel Marsch introduced the participants to the most important basics of artificial intelligence in an interactive and playful format.

The workshop included:

  • a lightweight introduction to understanding AI, AI history, and basic AI concepts,
  • three consecutive prompting competitions in which teams developed creative product ideas with AI support,
  • illustrative examples of bias, hallucinations, and other risks of AI,
  • practical explanations of legal frameworks such as the GDPR, EU AI Regulation, and copyright law,
  • the joint development of usable AI use cases from recurring activities in everyday work.

One highlight was the spontaneous and highly creative AI-supported product ideas from the participants – including a high-visibility vest for frogs at dusk and a recyclable bicycle. These examples playfully demonstrated how easily innovation can flourish through the use of AI.

Particularly impressive was an example of image bias: a prompt for a family on vacation in a car repeatedly led to the same stereotypical image in common AI systems – food for thought on how important it is to use AI critically.

Participants also realized how much routine work can already be automated today. For example, it was shown that Microsoft Copilot in PowerPoint can generate professional initial drafts for presentations in just a few minutes – a noticeable gain in efficiency.

Feedback from participants

After around six hours of workshops, they drew a very positive conclusion:

  • Participants felt more confident in dealing with AI.
  • The mix of knowledge transfer, interaction, and analog elements was particularly praised.
  • The relaxed atmosphere without a “slide battle” encouraged discussion and experimentation.
  • Many wanted to apply what they had learned directly in their everyday work the very next day.

Conclusion

The KEGON AI Kickstart Workshop helped employees overcome their fears of AI, deepen their understanding of the opportunities and risks, and identify specific use cases for their own daily work. With playful elements and practical examples, it succeeded in engaging employees of all experience levels and generating lasting enthusiasm for the topic of artificial intelligence.
