KEGON has been supporting the Lower Saxony Ministry of the Interior and Sport since December 2020 in the agile transformation of the Digital Administration Lower Saxony (DVN) programme.
KEGON played a key role in adapting SAFe to the needs of a modern state administration. Within this framework, an approach for agile administration was developed, which is suitable for mastering challenges such as the implementation of the OZG or for the comprehensive digitisation of administration. A sustainable anchoring of the agile methods and the agile culture in the state administration is ensured by coaching the key resources in the agile transformation. In setting up the product management, KEGON will develop and implement specific training modules in addition to coaching, which have been adapted to the tasks of the product managers in the Ministry of the Interior.
The successes of the agile transformation are now also visible beyond the country's borders. For example, the DVN programme took first place in category 4 "Best project for agile transformation 2022" in the eGovernment competition. In addition, the Lower Saxony Ministry of the Interior and Sport was the first state administration worldwide to be selected to present the transformation results of DVN as a "Customer Success Story" at the SAFe Summit 2022 in Denver.
