SAFe Toolkit: Who has access to which toolkit?

Those who have arrived in the SAFe® community and need more information as well as hands-on guidance on specific SAFe topics, e.g. "Starting an Agile Release Train" or "Introducing a SAFe Lean Portfolio", can access corresponding SAFe toolkits.

A major strength of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is that it provides extensive documentation of artifacts, roles, and processes online at www.scaledagileframework.com.

To better navigate this mass of information, SAI offers a wide range of multi-day SAFe training courses for the different roles through certified partners, such as KEGON AG, more on this in the blog article https://www.kegon.de/en/knowledge/blog/welches-safe-training-ist-das-richtige-fuer-mich0/

Those who need even more information and hands-on guidance on specific SAFe topics, e.g. "Starting an Agile Release Train" or "Introducing a SAFe Lean Portfolio", can access corresponding SAFe toolkits. These supplement the public information and training materials with additional information including checklists and quick reference guides.

Access to these - now 20 different - toolkits is dependent on the corresponding SAFe certification. Participants of the Implementing SAFe classes, have access to all toolkits after passing the final exam to become an SPC (SAFe Program Consultant). Participants in other certifications will have access to specific toolkits such as the "Agile Architecture" toolkit for SAFe Arch is a certificate holder alongside SPC or SPCT certificants.

The following table provides an overview of the corresponding trainings that entitle to toolkit access:
